I think that the recent Curt Flood injury might be the all time best, at least for originality. Poor Curt, his career has never really developed the way that anyone has hoped and now he has gotten injured while operating sometime type of video equipment (wink, wink). _________________ "Dammit, throw strikes".

Going back and re-reading the original post, it is possible that Flood was hurt taping an episode of some late night TV show; perhaps he was showing Joey Bishop a dance step and tripped. However the whole thing sounds like the excuse one provides to the significant other when caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. You know it isn't going to be believed when you say it but it comes out of your mouth anyway. _________________ "Dammit, throw strikes".
